Dr Simon P.G. Padley

Dr Simon Padley is the Director of Radiology at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital and at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS FTs. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, member of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging, British Society of Thoracic Imaging, Society of Cardiovascular CT, British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging, CIRSE and ESR.
Dr Padley is a cardiac and thoracic radiologist, as well as an interventional radiologist. Dr Padley co-initiated the cardiac CT programme at the Royal Brompton Hospital and is the trust lead for cancer imaging. He provides interventional radiology services related to lung cancer and vascular intervention. He is a Professor of Practice (Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology), Imperial College, London. His technical skills include complex lung intervention, including biopsy, fiducial marker placement, radiofrequency and microwave ablation, endovascular stenting, venous access and bronchial artery embolisation. Dr Padley has extensive teaching commitments in radiology.
